Caleb’s Story

Caleb was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor (kidney cancer) in September of 2016. After starting chemo and radiation he underwent surgery in January 2017 to remove additional tumors that had spread near his heart. In the coming weeks they will be meeting with their oncologists to determine their next steps.

When we met Caleb we quickly discovered that he did not like to have his photo taken. After a warm up period, bubbles, Captain America and Caleb’s favorite dinosaur he decided that the camera wasn’t so bad. Not only were we able to capture Caleb’s spirit, he also spent time behind the camera so we could take pictures of his favorite stuffed animals.
