Kristopher’s Story

Kristopher was diagnosed on November 19, 2016 just weeks after his 7th birthday. Initially he was diagnosed with a mixed phenotype which is very rare and his prognosis was unknown. After further testing the doctors changed his diagnosis to Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and we felt that was worth celebrating. Kristopher spent two weeks at the hospital with our initial treatment.

Kristopher was grumpy and tired but remained strong and luckily we were able to head home. two before before Christmas we were given the news that Kristopher was in remission! Today he continues with the treatment protocol and take his meds like a champ and enjoys every minute we are in the hospital. Kristopher is looking forward to going back to school in August.
