Ava’s Story
In November 2024, Ava was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma after battling a persistent fever for over a month. Multiple doctor visits and tests eventually led to a chest X-ray—and then, the life-changing diagnosis.
After her first round of chemotherapy, Ava’s hair began to fall out rapidly, coming out in handfuls. We made the difficult decision to cut her long, beautiful hair to shoulder length, and we all cried as more continued to fall.
Ava had always dreamed of having hair as long as Rapunzel’s. Losing her hair was heartbreaking—but through it all, Ava’s strength and spirit have remained unshaken.
