Maxx’s Story
Maxx was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in September 2024. After his very first treatment, his thick blonde hair began to fall out and became painful. Losing his hair was especially difficult—he had watched his dad go through the same experience during his own cancer journey. Maxx’s father passed away from leukemia in July 2023, making Maxx’s diagnosis even more frightening. During his photo shoot, Maxx was able to take pictures that included his dad, creating a meaningful way to honor his memory. Through it all, Maxx holds onto hope that one day his thick hair will grow back.
