Asha’s Story
Asha was diagnosed with sickle cell disease at birth—a condition that took a toll on her. She faced frequent illnesses and required numerous blood transfusions just to keep going.
After years of challenges, our family made the difficult decision to move from Washington State to Arizona in search of better care and support for her condition.
In 2023, Asha’s health declined significantly, and she spent most of the year in the ICU. Doctors eventually determined that a bone marrow transplant might be her best hope for a healthier future.
In late 2024, Asha underwent a bone marrow transplant— a courageous step towards healing.
