Adelaide’s Story

Adelaide “Addie Mae” was diagnosed on June 21, 2017 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Being only three years old she doesn’t understand exactly what is happening but does know that she is sick. Her diagnosis has turned our world upside down. Addie has kept her spunky, outgoing personalty throughout her treatment. She has the biggest brightest smile that just melts your heart. Losing her hair has been a bit of a shock both her and her parents. For us, we recognize that she now “looks sick” and often draws stares. Addie asks when her hair will grow back.
