Ailyn’s Story

Ailyn was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in January 2019. Ailyn didn’t have a difficult time losing her hair. We spoke about it the day she was first diagnosed and then for months afterwards. In June she lost her hair. All the months before Ailyn’s hair loss she heard Mommy talking about how normalities looks (to be bald). We continue to play around talking about how silly it would be to have pink, purple or other colored hair.
