Jean’s Story
Jean was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on August 30, 2020. She is one of 10 children, with 8 of whom live at home. Jean and her family moved to Tucson in 2015 as refugees from Tanzania. Jean is an avid soccer player and plays on a traveling team. Her family is very active and a huge support system for Jean during her treatment.
