Jose’s Story

We found out that Jose, also know as Junior, was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer that forms in the soft tissue after hitting his head and seeking help for concussion symptoms. It was extremely hard to hear that our first born son had cancer. We are however staying strong for him. It is amazing to witness how resilient and strong children can be. When Jose started to lose his hair, it happened in the blink of an eye. We went to get a haircut and he did not like being “bald.” He was afraid people would stare at him and laugh. Sometimes he tells me he can’t do certain things because he is “just a kid with no hair.”
