Kaitlyn’s Story

I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 25. I had just gotten my dream job and my own apartment. I started to feel sick and was taken to the Emergency Room where I was diagnosed with leukemia. I have always loved coloring and styling my hair, when my hair fell out I felt like I lost a piece of myself. It took me some time to realize I was still beautiful without my hair and that it was okay to be a bald beauty.
