Karen’s Story
BBP Karen is 19 years old and recently experienced a relapse of Ewing’s sarcoma—10 years after her initial diagnosis. Before her relapse, Karen was living independently and working, but her diagnosis has required her to put those plans on hold and move back home for additional support.
She has faced many difficult losses along the way, including the emotional challenge of losing her hair once again.
We were honored to reconnect and photograph Karen for the second time, helping her see just how strong, resilient, and beautiful she truly is.
