Tia’s Story

Tia was attending her sophomore year at the University of Arizona when she was diagnosed with Metastaic Large B-Cell Lymphoma in March 2021. Tia had beautiful long hair, when her hair started to fall out she couldn’t wait to buzz cut it. She decided to shave it off and feels it was one of the most empowering things she has ever done. Afterwards Tia felt much more free and has enjoyed having a bald head. Tia’s BBP photo shoot shows how empowered, beautiful and confident she is without her hair.
