Xavier’s Story
After severe, frequent stomach pains, we took Xavier to the ER and learned that he had poorly differentiated carcinoma with neo-endricrine features on his pancreas, lover and spleen. At this point, all they know is that the type of cancer is unknown and rare. Everything changed overnight, no more playing football, school or spending time at home.
Nearly 10 months later the doctors have concluded that Xavi has a rare type of pancreatic cancer (Either Pancreatic Acing Cell Carcinoma or Pancreatoblastoma). Xavi continues with chemo every two weeks and will need surgery to remove the cancer once it is safe to do so. Xavier continues to stay strong and in good spirits.
