Kayleah’s Story

My name is Kayleah and I am 9 years old. I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in August 2017. I am the oldest sibling and have one sister and brother that I love so much! I also love to draw, paint and dance.

Losing my hair was a challenge and scary for me because I thought I was going to look weird. After losing my hair I now have more confidence and I am learning to love myself. Everyone tells me “hair will grow back!” My younger sister donated 12 inches of her hair so I can use it as a wig. I am thankful for my family and the support they have given me during this time.
