Selena’s Story

Selena’s story began in August 2019 while she was playing and started to choke. Her family thought she may have swallowed a beaded necklace. Selena was taken to the hospital by ambulance to ensure she was okay. The x-ray did not reveal that anything had been ingested but instead a mass was discovered. Selena was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a type of cancer that forms in certain types of nerve tissue. Selena has been treated since she was 21 months old, at her photo shoot she was full of energy and gave us the most beautiful smiles.
