Andrew’s Story

Andrew was a happy 10 year old boy who loved to play soccer, video games and go to the movies with family. He is the youngest of 9 children. In January Andrew started throwing up. we took him to his doctor who thought Andrew was fine but maybe he should see a GI doctor. With so few pediatric GI doctors practicing in Tucson, we waited 4 months for an appointment. Andrew’s health became worse and we took him to the ER where they found a brain tumor . The following day Andrew underwent an eight hour brain surgery, on February 14, 2019 we were told the tumor was cancerous, Andrew was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma. Andrew is receiving chemo and 30 radiation treatments. He is a sweet boy and a fighter.
